Bio:
John Rae-Grant leads Developer Experience at DataStax. John started his career with ten years building and then leading Developer Tools (Visual C++) and Developer Relations (MSDN) at Microsoft. After leaving Microsoft, John alternated between talking the talk (consulting) and walking the walk (being an entrepreneur and internal leader) of software leadership, including taking an incubator from startup through IPO as Co-Founder and CTO. Immediately prior to DataStax, John spent six years at Google as a Lead Product Manager for Gmail, Google Play Services, and Google Cloud's Developer Tools. John holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Yale University
