VP, Ecosystem Programs & Digital Experience
Catherine started her career at IBM in the executive communications organization as a speech writer at IBM Corporate Headquarters, New York. From there she has spent time in Software Technical Sales, Program Management, Market Management, Field Marketing and other organizations across the business. In 2013 she accepted an international assignment in IBM Japan leading Software Marketing Programs. In 2014 she was promoted to Director of IBM Japan Marketing leading all go to market programs.
After returning to the U.S. in 2016, she stepped into the role of Chief of Staff for the Chief Digital Officer where she focused on standing up IBM’s Digital Business Group and transformation agenda. Catherine has recently moved to San Francisco from the East Coast in a new role as the Vice President of IBM’s Global Ecosystem Programs and Experience mission. She is responsible for activating all GTM programs for developers, startups and academia in collaboration with some of the industries best partners. She also oversees experience for the ecosystem via the IBM developerWorks platform.
She is a third generation IBMer and is passionate about developing and mentoring next generation talent through internship programs and women’s organizations.
