Global Manager – Partner Relations, Connected Ecosystem Integration
Daphne joined General Motors as the Global Manager of Partner Relations & Customer Apps in June, 2016 on the engineering team of Connected Ecosystem Integration. Daphne’s team is responsible for building the development tools for GM’s infotainment platforms including their Software Development Kits/Emulators and in-vehicle testing capabilities. Her team has been awarded the Global Software Innovation of the Year Award for their advances in the automotive tech sector and works with companies around the world looking to integrate native, rich in-vehicle experiences. Daphne is also responsible for developing the strategy and integrating Virtual Assistants and voice technology into GM vehicles. Under her leadership GM has shipped more apps and developed more frameworks and platform enablers allowing GM to launch product into the market faster than most software companies. Prior to GM she developed business models around Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality experiences for enterprise-focused solutions at a boutique technology company. Daphne has developed a broad set of experiences building out teams and global leadership ranging from working for the United Nations in Tehran, Iran to the Chief of Staff of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. She has lived and worked on 3 continents during her career and is trilingual.
